Sen. Sessions Releases Lengthy Timeline Of Obama Administration’s Dismantling Of Immigration Law

” As Republicans work to overcome a Democratic filibuster of a House-passed Department of Homeland Security bill that blocks President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) is highlighting the Obama administration’s long history of dismantling immigration laws.

In a lengthy timeline released Monday, Sessions — the chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest — lists every instance of the Obama administration ignoring, rewriting, delaying and breaking the nation’s immigration laws.

The timeline begins in January 2009 with the administration ending worksite enforcement actions and, 50 pages later, ends on February 13, 2015 with the House Judiciary Committee’s revelation that the administration included a “sneaky” avenue for illegal immigrants granted deferred status to be placed on a pathway to citizenship.”

Devastating Benghazi Timeline Reveals Obama MIA

” Release of the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) Benghazi timeline comes as a new Senate report published Wednesday concluded that “the attacks were preventable.”

As the GAI timeline reveals, Obama failed to attend his daily intelligence briefing for the five consecutive days leading up to the September 11, 2012 attack of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.”

How Chris Christie’s Bridge Scandal Unfolded

” Aug. 13, 2013 – Bridget Kelly, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie‘s deputy chief of staff, emails David Wildstein, a Christie appointee at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. “Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee,” she writes. “Got it,” he responded.

Sept. 6, 2013 – Wildstein orders the authority to close two of three access lanes between Fort Lee, N.J., and the bridge.

Sept. 9, 2013 – The Port Authority shuts down the lanes, causing a massive traffic jam. Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich contacts the Port Authority about an “urgent matter of public safety in Fort Lee.” Christie’s aides don’t respond. The closings continued for four days.”

The 2013 Debt Ceiling Battle Given An Historical Perspective

Debt Ceiling Timeline

” About now, many Americans wish they had never heard the term debt ceiling — or knew so much about what it meant. But with lawmakers hesitant to approve an increase in the amount that the U.S. government is authorized to pay for debts already incurred by Congress, this phrase has become a household word, as it were. Although it feels like this latest gridlock between Congress and President Barack Obama is yet another indication of today’s steely partisan politics, debt-ceiling conflicts have been to one degree or another Washington staples for the past four decades. Before the 1970s, not so much.

The first time the debt ceiling came into view was in 1917 with the adoption of the Second Liberty Bond Act, which placed limits on expenditures for large categories of debt such as bonds and bills. Before then, Congress had to authorize loans and other debt instruments individually. In 1939, President Franklin D. Roosevelt asked Congress to remove the $30 billion ceiling on Treasury bonds. And soon afterward, Congress eliminated individual limits for specific types of debt, leaving only one aggregate ceiling for the government’s total indebtedness. This gave the Treasury Department more flexibility in determining the types of instruments it issued.”

… PENTAGON BENGHAZI TIMELINE CONTRADICTS CIA

” The election may be over, but questions over the Obama White House’s handling of the Sept. 11 attacks in Benghazi, Libya remain. And now that CIA Director David Petraeus has resigned from his post citing an extramarital affair, those questions are likely to either get a lot more difficult to answer, or a lot less difficult to answer, as more information trickles out.

And indeed, some information already has. On Friday, the Pentagon released its official timeline of the response to the Benghazi attacks through an anonymous official. Fox News caught the release of this information, and has done the necessary job of comparing it with separate accounts of the attacks by other sources including the CIA.

The accounts diverge and discrepancies abound. From Fox News:

Right from the start, the Pentagon and the CIA timelines do not match. (The CIA timeline, which was released on Nov. 1, states that at 9:40 p.m., “A senior State Department security officer at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi called the CIA annex and requested assistance.”)

A source at the CIA annex that night told Fox News that when they first asked to go and help, they were told to wait.[…] “

Timeline Of Libya Attack …

… Reveals administration Contradictions

” The timeline of events leading up to last month’s deadly attack in Benghazi and the administration’s shifting explanations have become a major problem for Democrats less than a month before Election Day.

Already under criticism for linking the assault on the U.S. consulate to an anti-Islam video, the administration raised even more eyebrows Thursday when Vice President Biden said he didn’t know about the U.S. mission’s request for more security. Biden’s statement directly contradicts sworn testimony from State Department officials given just the day before.

The following is a detailed timeline of events leading to the Sept. 11 attack and what the Obama administration has said since then.”

“New evidence shows there were security threats in Libya in the months prior to the deadly September 11 attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. Despite these threats, the State Department left its personnel there to fend for themselves”
