Taxpayer Money Goes To Party Video Dubbed As ‘Team Building’

Miami %22Team Building%22 Video

” It is a party video you have been paying for every year since 2010.

Miami-Dade County’s Community Information and Outreach department has been producing it, it said, to show around the holiday season and as a “team-building” exercise.

Most of the videos appear to be a series of skits involving images of drinking, dancing and dramatics apparently designed to be funny.

” Shocking” is how one county employee described it, who did not want to be identified for fear of losing their job.

One scene, for example, has images of one current and one former employee holding what appears to be beer and waiving dollar bills. All of this as the music says, “Bottoms up” and the two men are heard saying, “Cheers baby!”

Other parts have employees dancing to popular songs like “Gangnam Style.” “

Who’s Buying Obamacare, In Three Charts

” More than 2.1 million Americans selected private health plans through healthcare.gov and state-run websites through Dec. 28, the Obama administration announced today. Another 1.6 million were judged eligible for Medicaid, the federal-state insurance program for the poor. Most of the new enrollees in private health plans—1.8 million—signed up in December, after the White House relaunched the Affordable Care Act’s stuttering website on Dec. 1.

Most of the people who bought coverage on the exchanges this fall got subsidies to help them afford the premiums. That’s in contrast to the first month of the program, when less than one-third of buyers were subsidized. People earning up to four times the poverty rate—as much as $96,000 a year for a family of four—can get help buying coverage.”

DOJ Sends Secret “Peacekeepers” Where Trayvon Martin Was Killed

CRS

” Records obtained by Judicial Watch in response to local, state and federal public records requests show that the so-called peacekeepers are part of a large and growing division within DOJ called the Community Relations Service (CRS).  Though CRS purports to spot and quell racial tensions nationwide before they arise, the documents obtained by Judicial Watch show the group actively worked to foment unrest, spending thousands of taxpayer dollars on travel and hotel rooms to train protestors throughout Florida.  The peacekeepers also met with officials of the Republican National Convention, scheduled for several months later in Tampa, to warn them to expect protests in connection with Martin’s death.

In response to a Florida Sunshine Law request to the City of Sanford, Judicial Watch also obtained an audio recording of a “community meeting” held at Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sanford on April 19, 2012. “
