Report: Agent Who Shot Tsarnaev’s Friend Had Troubled Past

 

 

 

 

 

” A new report claims the FBI agent who fatally shot a friend of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has a troubled past that includes internal affair investigations.

  The agent who shot and killed Ibragim Todashev in Florida once worked at the police department in Oakland, Calif. According to the Boston Globe, during his time there, he pleaded the fifth at a police corruption trial. He was also reportedly the subject of two police brutality lawsuits and four internal affairs investigations.

  He retired from the department in 2004 at age 31 and was later hired by the FBI. The FBI and both Massachusetts and Florida officials have refused to identify the officer, citing concerns for his safety.”

 

 

    It’s astounding that it took nearly a year after the killing for these details to come to light . How ofter do we hear of an officer being fired/retired for misbehavior/corruption only to be hired by some other law enforcement agency . Disgraceful .

” An FBI agent shot and killed a Florida man who turned violent while being questioned about the Boston Marathon bombings early on Wednesday, the bureau said.

A friend of the dead man identified him as 27-year-old Ibragim Todashev of Orlando, a Chechen who had previously lived in Boston, the Orlando Sentinel and Orlando television stations reported. Tamerlan Tsarnaev Buried In Undisclosed Location

Dead Boston Bombing Suspect Buried

 

 

” The body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has been buried in an undisclosed location outside the city of Worcester, where it had been held for a week at a funeral home, police said Thursday.

“As a result of our public appeal for help, a courageous and compassionate individual came forward to provide the assistance needed to properly bury the deceased,” Worcester police said in a statement.

Sgt. Kerry Hazelhurst said the body was no longer in Worcester and is now entombed. Police did not disclose where the body was taken.

Tsarnaev’s body had been at the Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors for a week. Director Peter Stefan says he could not find a community willing to take the body, including Cambridge, where the family had lived for a decade. The Saudi warning, the official told MailOnline, was separate from the multiple red flags raised by Russian intelligence in 2011, and was based on human intelligence developed independently in Yemen.

In another development, Russian officials revealed details about contacts between the older brother and suspected Islamist radicals in the Caucasus, including Internet exchanges that led to concerns by investigators that he was trying to join up with jihadist fighters.

One official familiar with the case said agents went to the house Monday to collect a DNA sample from Ms. Russell, the culmination of days of negotiations. FBI officials also have been negotiating with Ms. Russell’s attorney in recent days to gain fuller access to question her, the officials familiar with the case said. The two men were armed with a small arsenal of five pipe bombs, an M-4 carbine, two handguns and a BB gun. They planned to kill as many people as they could and then, depending on who is talking, blow up New York or party there, authorities said.

Police begin to look pretty incompetent if they are having a shootout involving dozens of police officers and just two suspects if the suspects escape, even if the suspects are armed with several weapons. But now we know that the pair did not have an arsenal, as first reported, but only one Ruger 9 mm handgun.

If police will lie about the weapons the pair had and what happened during the shootout, what else are they lying about?

The FBI claims it’s looking for other members of the Tsarnaev’s terror cell. Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick insists they acted alone. It can’t be both, but no one outside of alternative media is asking which it is.

The issue that has become a concern for lawmakers is the fact that the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) informed the FBI that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a follower of radical Islam and a strong believer. The domestic intelligence security agency said that Tamerlan was preparing to leave the US and travel to Russia to join unspecified underground groups. The FBI investigated and found no known links. Tsarnaev did indeed return to Russia, but slipped below the radar of the FBI.

‘It forced them out of their hideout and they decided to commit further violent acts. But it’s my belief that they were already manufacturing explosive devices. Further violent acts were inevitable,’ Davis told The Boston Globe.

The suspects ‘were not making those explosives for nothing,’ Davis told The Globe. ‘There was a plan there, and I believe that tragically Sean Collier lost his life, but he was truly protecting the citizens of the city’. “
