… HOW THE ROMNEY CAMPAIGN SUPPRESSED ITS OWN VOTE

” As Republicans try to explain their Election Day losses in terms of policy, tactics, and strategy, one factor is emerging as the essential difference between the Obama and Romney campaigns on November 6: the absolute failure of Romney’s get-out-the-vote effort, which underperformed even John McCain’s lackluster 2008 turnout. One culprit appears to be “Orca,” the Romney’s massive technology effort, which failed completely.

A source within the Romney campaign agreed to share his reflections on Project Orca with Breitbart News:

It’s easy to point fingers after a loss and I wouldn’t normally do it, but consider what happened.

Project Orca was supposed to enable poll watchers to record voter names on their smartphones, by listening for names as voters checked in. This would give the campaign real-time turnout data, so they could redirect GOTV resources throughout the day where it was most needed. They recruited 37,000 swing state volunteers for this.”

Miscast Ballot

Courtesy of America’s Freedom Watcher we have some tips on how to deal with problems in casting your ballot .

” DO NOT TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU IPHONE OR CAMERA—-THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO IF YOU FIND THAT YOUR ELECTION MACHINE “malfunctions” . THIS “MALFUNCTION IS TAKING PLACE IN ALL THE STATES THAT ALLOW VOTING BEFORE NOVEMBER THE 6TH…PEOPLE THAT VOTE HAVE VOTED FOR ROMNEY HAVE FOUND THAT THE VOTE WAS COUNTED FOR OBAMA. WHAT FOLLOWS EXPLAINS HOW TO GET THIS STRAIGHTENED OUT WHILE YOU ARE STILL IN THE VOTING BOOTH: Election Machine Malfunction What to do if your electronic voting machine messes up. You’ve cast your vote page by page. You get to the summary of all your votes at the end of the electronic voting process. BUT YOU SEE THAT THE MACHINE HAS FLIPPED YOUR VOTES OR RECORDED THE WRONG VOTES!!! …
1. Do not panic; it happens, especially if you’ve voted quickly (like typing too fast on Facebook).
2. Call for one of the poll workers to come over because your machine has made an error.

3. Show the poll worker what’s happened.
4. The poll worker will ask you to try again to see if the machine repeats the error.
5. If it does NOT repeat the error, press the “cast ballot” button and finish voting.
6. If it DOES repeat the error, insist on having the poll supervisor come over. With the original poll worker helper present explain what’s happened. Tell the supervisor you want this machine taken offline and you want to vote on a machine that’s working properly.
7. The poll supervisor will have to cancel your voting “booth” before doing anything else.
8. Then the supervisor will take the machine offline (disconnect it from the daisy chain of machines).
9. The poll supervisor will re-issue the code you need to vote.
10. Go through the process again.DO NOT take a photo of the machine or of anything in the polling area. In almost every state this is ILLEGAL and can get you thrown out of the poll without being able to vote. If the poll supervisor DOES NOT follow the above steps, insist that he/she call the county/municipal election authority and let you speak with them. (That’s your right as a voter.) Get them to direct the poll supervisor to take the correct actions. If they won’t help, ask for the toll free number to your state Secretary of State. Call them and ask them to resolve the problem. If they won’t help call 855-444-6100. That’s the True the Vote hotline. But DON’T CALL that line until AFTER you’ve tried the county/municipal authority AND the Secretary of State. We have lawyers standing by to help. Please only call if YOU are the person to whom this happens. NOBODY can take 2nd or 3rd hand reports and take action “

Welcome to the New World Order

” United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups, a concern raised by civil rights groups during a meeting this week. The intervention has drawn criticism from a prominent conservative-leaning group combating election fraud.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a United Nations partner on democratization and human rights projects, will deploy 44 observers around the county on Election Day to monitor an array of activities, including potential disputes at polling places.

Liberal-leaning civil rights groups met with representatives from the OSCE this week to raise their fears about what they say are systematic efforts to suppress minority voters likely to vote for President Obama.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the NAACP and the ACLU, among other groups, warned this month in a letter to Daan Everts, a senior official with OSCE, of “a coordinated political effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans — particularly traditionally disenfranchised groups like minorities.”

The request for foreign monitoring of election sites drew a strong rebuke from Catherine Engelbrecht, founder and president of True the Vote, a conservative-leaning group seeking to crack down on election fraud.

“These activist groups sought assistance not from American sources, but from the United Nations,” she said in a statement to The Hill. “The United Nations has no jurisdiction over American elections.”

The observers, from countries such as Germany, France, Serbia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, will observe voting at polling places and other political activity. “
