CNN And MSNBC Lose Almost Half Their Viewers In One Year

” It’s been a tough year for the liberal cable news outlets.

Data released Tuesday show CNN shedding 48 percent of total viewers since last November and MSNBC dropping 45 percent.

The numbers were even worse in the all important demographic of people aged 25 to 54 as CNN’s ratings dropped 59 percent and MSNBC’s 52 percent.”

Fox News Destroys Competitors In November Ratings

” Fox News triumphed in the cable news ratings battle in November, grabbing more total day and primetime viewers than its two rival competitors — CNN and MSNBC — combined.

It marks the 143rd consecutive month that Fox News has come out on top, and it ranked second in all of cable for the month of November — behind only ESPN. It featured the top 14 programs in all of cable news.”

Nov. 2013 Ratings: CNN Shows Hit Year Lows

YouTube Will Let Users Watch Videos Offline In Its App

” YouTube is adding a feature to its mobile app in November that will let users add videos to their handsets to watch for a short period, even when they are unable to get an Internet connection.

Exactly how long the “short period” will be is not clear yet, but YouTube hints that it could be as long as your journey to work in the morning, saying: “Your fans’ ability to enjoy your videos no longer has to be interrupted by something as commonplace as a morning commute.” “

” Honest Americans Bought Enough Guns in November and December to Outfit the Entire Chinese and Indian Armies

The Obama Administration is the number one threat to the nation’s gun rights advocates.  In the four years since Barack Obama was first elected president in November 2008, an estimated 67 million firearms have been purchased in the United States. In November a record 2 million guns were sold in America.  This was followed up by another record in December.  2.7 million guns were sold in America in the last month of 2012 “

Steyn: Congress Spent 2 Months Arguing for 10 Hours Worth of Spending Cuts

Steyn On Spending

” Conservative columnist Mark Steyn unleashed a torrent of pithy thoughts on the mercifully ended theater-of-the-absurd that resulted in a measly few billion dollars a year in spending cuts under the fiscal cliff deal. In the video above, the author of After America: Get Ready for Armageddon stated in his cheerfully sardonic way that “the American era is over“:

“In a sense America voted for big government in November. What it didn’t vote for is the willingness to pay for it. We have the biggest gap between revenue and spending of any nation on Earth. So people have got to get real about this. If you want Swedish-style government, you have to pay Swedish-style taxes. And if you don’t, you have to grow up and learn to live within your means.” ”

73% Of New Jobs Created In Last 5 Months Are In

Government

” The United States government is propping up the dismal labor market by simply absorbing workers into its ranks. As CNS News reports, 73.3% of new civilian jobs in the last five months are due to government hiring:

In the same five-month period since June, the number of people employed by government increased by 621,000 to 20,559,000. These 621,000 new government jobs created in the last five months equal 73.3 percent of the 847,000 new jobs created overall.

Elsewhere on the employment front, the mainstream media are doing cartwheels over news that the unemployment rate ticked down from 7.9% in October to 7.7% in November. The celebration comes as 540,000 dropped out of the workforce, and the labor force participation rate dropped to 63.6%. This is slightly up from the thirty-year low of 63.5% in September.”

Here we are shown the Greek crisis for what it is . Hardly the main event …. Much more are their miseries and suffering , self-inflicted though they are , just the opening act for the main event forming up backstage as we speak .

Yes … We refer to Italy and Spain . Both with their own variety of the same basic tax&spend malady and nary a physician in sight .

There are lessons here for November should we choose to face the reality of our situation  . With America only baby steps behind the PIIGS , will the electorate become fully aware of the financial cliff rushing towards us , not-withstanding the MSM’s/Dems (oxymoron?) lemming like drive FORWARD …..

“The third and final reason why the relief rally ended so quickly: Greece was the curtain raiser for the European meltdown, but it is ultimately a sideshow. Europe has moved on now; we are worried about Spain and Italy now. The Greek election doesn’t solve any of Europe’s real problems. Greece can and probably will make Europe’s problems worse, but nothing that
happens in Greece can save the euro.
As interest rates on Italian debt passed 6 percent (the crisis threshold) and for Spain they
passed 7 percent (apocalyptic), Europe edged a little closer to the precipice this morning. The
Greek election went as well as could be expected, and better than feared, but Europe’s problems just keep getting worse all the same.”
