Democratic Congresswoman Claims Constitution Is 400 Years Old On House Floor
What an idiot . Sheila Jackson Lee doesn’t even know how old our constitutional republic is yet she’s sure that she knows an unconstitutional law when she sees it . The voters of her congressional district must be proud … or just as ignorant as she given that the Honorable Jackson-Lee is the source of one moronic statement after another.
Since Rep Lee has once again brought herself to our attention with another nearly incomprehensible utterance perhaps now is a good time to take a look at the people responsible for foisting the woman on us . The Honorable Jackson Lee represents the people of the 18th congressional district in Texas which encompasses Houston and parts of the surrounding area .
The district which achieved it’s present makeup in a 1972 redistricting has voted completely Democratic since that time . It’s population consists of :

Ms Lee has been the 18th district’s representative since first winning election in 1994 . She won the election with over 70% of the vote and during the course of her tenure in the House has never seen less than that and has even approached 90% on several occasions .
Her district went for Obama by 77-23% over McCain in the 2008 presidential election and again for Obama by a nearly identical 76.1-22.8% margin over Romney in 2012 .
As the numbers indicate the job of representing the people district 18 is hers for as long as she desires it and we will have Sheila Jackson Lee and her wisdom to guide us into the foreseeable future . If there is one bright spot in Ms Lee’s history of which Texans can be proud it is the fact that Sheila Jackson was born , raised and educated in New York:

We’re guessing that Yale University is not strong on American history requirements considering that Ms Lee is a storied alumnus , but then again she rose through the educational ranks on the rising tide of affirmative action so that may explain the disconnect between her official educational pedigree of Yale and UVa and her many inane public utterances .
No history of a politician would be complete without a quick look at the money behind the candidate to see just who they are obliged to represent and so we give you a snapshot of Sheila’s sugar daddies , the ones that have bankrolled her career from 1994 to the present … there are no surprises … unions , unions , unions .

Man Arrested For Robbing Banks After Taking Selfie On Facebook With Gun Used To Rob Banks
” 21-year-old Jules Bahler, or “King Romeo” as he calls himself on Facebook, loves posting selfies with guns, and the picture above is the one that got him arrested for robbing three banks.
It’s believed Bahler robbed a Genisys Credit Union and a Bank of America in Pontiac, and then went up to Bay City where to rob a Chemical Bank. Authorities believe he got away with about $15,000.”

White House Rushes To Defend ‘One Of The Leading Statesmen Of Our Time’
(Robert) “Gates’ book, “Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War,” has sent a political shock wave through Washington, with its scathing critiques of Team Obama. Gates left little to the imagination in questioning Obama’s leadership style and commitment to the Afghanistan war. But he was particularly brutal in his assessment of Biden.

As Lead Sponsor In House On Gun Legislation, Rep. Diana DeGette Appears To Not Understand How They Work

” Democratic Rep. Diana DeGette has been the lead sponsor on a federal ban on high-capacity ammunition magazines in two Congresses, saying it’s one of her top priorities.
But Tuesday at a Denver Post forum on the gun control debate, the senior congresswoman from Denver appeared to not understand how guns work.
“I will tell you these are ammunition, they’re bullets, so the people who have those now they’re going to shoot them, so if you ban them in the future, the number of these high capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be any more available.”
What she didn’t appear to understand is that a magazine can be reloaded with more bullets.”

Every Single Bit Of Gun Advice Biden Gives Will Get You Arrested
Via US News & World Report, which is admirably covering the “things Biden says that will get you thrown in jail” beat:
Vice President Joe Biden told Field & Stream magazine in an interview published Monday, “[if] you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.”
Coincidentally, a 22-year-old man in Virginia Beach, Va., was charged Monday with reckless handling of a firearm after doing just that a couple days earlier.
Local TV station WAVY 10 reports that the man observed two masked men leaning into his bedroom window. The men allegedly had weapons and told him to close his bedroom door. He stepped outside of his bedroom and did as instructed, then fired his shotgun through the closed door and then several more times at the window.
The only person who should ever take Biden’s gun advice is David Gregory, who is of course exempt from gun laws because he has very important points to make.
And, when it comes to gun laws for thee but not for me, you can’t beat this attack of hypocrisy combined with cronyism. Hypocrony? Guess who’s exempt from New York’s new high-capacity magazine ban?
Just a month after Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the strictest gun control law in the country, state officials plan to make some exemptions.
The law toughened restrictions on military-style rifles and high-capacity semiautomatic handguns, but those restrictions will be changed so those types of weapons can be used on the sets of television shows and movies being shot in New York.”

At the town hall, Kerry urged Germans to be tolerant, noting that in America, ‘you have a right to be stupid.’

During the campaign John Kerry had consistently refused to release his records from Yale University, along with his records of…well, just about everything. Today, however, we understand why: his grades were on par with–if not actually somewhat lower than–those earned by George W. Bush.
The transcript shows that Kerry’s freshman-year average was 71. He scored a 61 in geology, a 63 and 68 in two history classes, and a 69 in political science. His top score was a 79, in another political science course. Another of his strongest efforts, a 77, came in French class.

” I can’t say I was surprised when I read, via a Drudge link, that John Kerry made his first foreign policy speech as secretary of State on the heavyweight scientific subject of climate change (the perils thereof, of course).
But I did have a chuckle, remembering that sometime during or after the 2004 presidential campaign it was revealed that Kerry did even more poorly at Yale than the supposedly dopey George W. Bush. In fact, the former Massachusetts senator received four “Ds” in his freshman year, including one in geology.
We can assume that our new Sec’y of State is not a science whiz. Nevertheless, Mr. Kerry is apparently certain that anthropogenic global warming is a great danger to the human race and should be the object of a major international effort.
Why does he think so? Because he assumes the vast majority of scientists say so, I would imagine. And also because that’s what thebien pensant think and there is no one more orthodox in his views than John Kerry.
A recent survey of 1077 professional engineers and geoscientists reported by Investor’s Business Daily gives quite a different picture, however: “… it turns out that only 36% believe that human activities are causing Earth’s climate to warm.” Indeed, if you read this study you find that there has been a shift among scientists and engineers away from AGW. And this is leaving out whether warming is ultimately good or bad, that the polar ice cap has been growing by leaps and bounds and that polar bear population is exploding, etc., etc.”

In addition, the Obama administration announced the cancellation of Third Site missile defences on September 17, 2009, which also happened to be the 70th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland.”
