  In a lengthy timeline released Monday, Sessions — the chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest — lists every instance of the Obama administration ignoring, rewriting, delaying and breaking the nation’s immigration laws.

  The timeline begins in January 2009 with the administration ending worksite enforcement actions and, 50 pages later, ends on February 13, 2015 with the House Judiciary Committee’s revelation that the administration included a “sneaky” avenue for illegal immigrants granted deferred status to be placed on a pathway to citizenship.”

” A new poll of Latino voters finds that most want President Obama to issue more executive orders to cover all illegal immigrants and protect them from deportation if Congress doesn’t agree to comprehensive immigration reform.

  The Latino Decisions survey found that 73 percent of the 405 registered voters polled want “additional executive orders” to protect immigrant workers not impacted by Obama’s decision last week targeted at four to five million parents facing deportation.

“ We would prefer much more,” said Oscar Chacon, executive director of the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities.

  He added that 2016 presidential candidates should be welcoming to immigrants or face a voter backlash. “We will make sure that it is a central issue in the coming election,” he said.

  The poll, conducted on behalf of Presente.org and Mi Familia Vota, also found that 64 percent of the Latino voters know “somebody who is an undocumented immigrant.” Some 42 percent said that they were both a friend and a family member.

  Obama’s move won overwhelming support from those polled, with 89 percent supporting it strongly or somewhat strongly.

“ This 89 percent is the highest and most unified we have ever found,” said Matt Barreto, co-founder of Latino Decisions.

  Republicans took a big hit in the poll, with most, 64 percent, blaming Republicans for inaction on immigration reform. “

 

 

    Given the oft-stated fact that we all came from immigrants at one time or another , which is true , we still cannot recall any of our immigrant fore-bearers either expecting or receiving the kind of special treatment now deemed to be deserved by the latest influx of foreigners . Since when is everyone “entitled” to citizenship ?

2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act that may prevent states from making information available to thebackground check system.
If we have inadvertently left in a provision that allows the states any hope of nullifying any action we will ensure the courts side with us until we get it repaired.  Bribe or threaten any who do not willingly comply.   “Sieg Heil!!!”.

3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.
Try bribery first and that doesn’t work we can go to threats. These “motivational aids” will encourage cooperation from governors and legislators of both political parties.  Ve have vays of making you talk, Sieg Heil!!!”

4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.
Categories MUST include, from most important to least important; Military veterans with priority on Special Ops training and combat experience; people of Christian and Jewish faiths; people who own guns; people who know how to shoot someone else’s guns; people who have read and understand The Constitution of the United States of America; people who expect elected officials to uphold their oath of office; people who discuss liberty, personal responsibility, and self-determination; conservative people who have the temerity to criticize any politician that violates his/her oath of office.

Of course we should all want our president focused on what works. We have more than enough dysfunctional and counter-productive federal policies in place, thanks to both Congress and the president. But there is one consideration that is even more important than whether an executive action will work to reduce gun-related violence: whether the president has the constitutional authority to implement it.

The obvious constraint on executive actions relating to guns is the Second Amendment. It is a constraint that applies equally to Congress and to state and local governments. Though the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2008 decision in District of Columbia v. Heller made clear that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to bear arms, it left unresolved whether particular regulations on gun ownership and gun use are consistent with that right. Both the president and Congress will get an earful on this topic over the coming weeks and months.”

  “President Barack Obama’s administration deliberately held off implementing burdensome regulations that favored environmentalists, labor unions, and dealt with Obamacare in the month leading up to the election because they would be politically unpopular.

Before Obama won reelection, the backlog of regulations suggested to many industry experts that if Obama won reelection, his administration would be “publishing thousands of pages of regulations in the coming months.”

Now that Obama won, some in the business community expect a “tsunami” of regulations that will burst through the dam because about 70 percent of regulations under review have been held for more 90 days, which is 30 days more than the customary 60-day limit. And these are regulations that have made it out of the various agencies. There are many more still on hold.

Many of those regulations involve the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

According to the National Journal:

Industry lobbyists and environmental lawyers estimate that the EPA is currently sitting on about a dozen new major regulations, completed, and ready to roll out the door, but on hold until after the election. Nearly all of them will have a significant impact on the coal and oil industry. “
