Parents Outraged Students Shown Video “Sympathetic” To 9/11 Terrorists

 

 

 

 

 

 

” A documentary shown in a Virginia high school that some parents say is too sympathetic to the 9/11 terrorists is outraging some parents.

  The video, called “Searching for the Roots of 9/11” was produced by three-time Pulitzer Prize winner Thomas Friedman and aired on the Discovery Channel in 2003. It examines “Muslim anger” at America and – some say – paints an all-too-kind picture of their motives.

  Blogger Tom White first reported on the issue after concerned parents contact him.

  The video was shown to Hanover High School students in a history class. It was not part of the official curriculum.”

” All of a sudden, people have noticed that we are in trouble, and many are saying it isn’t the president’s fault. All the bad news, from Iraq to Ukraine, from Libya and Syria to the Mexican border, just seems to have happened: Obama was standing there, golfing or shaking hands with donors, and, like a burst of bad weather, the winds blew, the skies opened, and things went to hell. Mysterious forces conspired against him, terrible setbacks occurred for no reason, and we were left with effects without a cause. His supporters commiserate with him and note his bad fortune at being in office at a time when events make his life difficult.”

 

 

    Now that the fact that the world is heading to hell in a hand basket can no longer be denied and the “blame Bush” card has expired the Obama sycophants must resort to the old standby , bad luck in finding excuses for their failed “leader” .

 

 

” The reasons offered for why bad things aren’t his doing fall into three different categories: (1) The system is broken, the country is polarized, and the Republicans have become too insane to deal with; (2) stuff happens, and no one at all can do much about it; and (3) people think that the president ought to be Superman and solve all their problems, which is really expecting too much.”

” A 24-year-old man shot in West Pullman Sunday night was at least the 37th person shot in a violent three-day stretch in Chicago.

  Four people were killed on the first weekend of the year to feature a stretch of warm weather, and the violence began as the school day ended on the warm Friday afternoon when a teenage girl, Gakira Barnes, was fatally shot in Woodlawn.

  In the 2-1/2 days between those two shootings, three people were killed and 36 other people were wounded in shootings.”

” The latest attempt by liberals to help black people is underway in our K-12 urban public schools.

  These do-gooders are now defining down socially acceptable behavior for black students in school. Bad behavior is being excused and attempts to hold black kids accountable by enforcing codes of conduct are called racist.

  Having a sense of discipline has always been considered a virtue, a redeeming quality, but now its roots are claimed to lie in racism.

  White liberal elites have chimed in about school codes of conduct.

  The Capital Times newspaper of Madison, Wis., recently chronicled bad behavior by black students in its public schools. In the story, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan said that racial discrimination in school discipline codes “is a real problem today.”

  The white superintendent of the Madison public schools believes that “we need to address head-on our racial bias and the assumptions we make of students who are in the classroom.”

  Really? Where I come from, bad behavior has always been unacceptable and is codified not by race but by societal norms to keep chaos from reigning.

  These watered-down student codes of conduct sweeping across urban public school systems will not help black parents, kids or communities. Like every other display of liberal empathy, they will have a reverse effect, and it will not be positive.

  All anti-social behavior and social pathology is normalized, and to disagree is racial stereotyping.What these race provocateurs do not want to admit is the reason we are seeing more disruptive behavior in schools is because of poor and ineffective parenting, manifested by liberal policies.

  There is a government program today for everything in the black community that used to be the responsibility of the individual, such as parenting. Because of this system, many parents have abdicated what is their most important responsibility and turned it over to the government.

  Uncle Sam is now raising their kids. “

Considering that the entire backbone of the law is dependent on this technology and expertise, how can anyone truly believe that the Nov. 30 deadline set for HealthCare.gov to work properly is going to be met? And why should anyone trust that IT will work better in the future?

We also learned, despite this traditional technology deficit, the president was not “informed directly” about the challenges facing the website, because he would never be “stupid enough to say this is going to be as easy as shopping around on Amazon or Travelocity.” “
