Black Choppers Rattle Dallas Skyline In Urban Training Drills

 

 

 

 

” Dallas residents have taken to social media to express alarm over a swarm of black helicopters that have descended upon their neighborhoods, part of a US Special Forces drill to prepare for future engagement in urban areas.

  Beginning Monday morning, Dallas residents went online to report a surreal spectacle that seems more consistent with conspiracy-theory lore than reality: Black helicopters with their lights switched off buzzing the rooftops of this Texas city of 1.2 million people.

  Unbeknown to many residents, the sinister-looking sight was the initial phase of US Special Operations Forces training in “realistic urban sites” scheduled to run for the next two weeks.

  According to local news reports, the training missions may move beyond Dallas.

“ North Texas police departments are letting the forces conduct urban training across the region over a two-week span,” The Dallas Morning News reported.”

Dallas Man Commits Suicide By Decapitation

Dallas Man Decapitates Self After Driving Off With Rope Round Neck Tied To Fire Hydrant

 

 

 

 

 

” Hugo Rodriguez, a West Dallas man horrified onlookers after placing a rope around his neck attached to a fire hydrant before driving off and decapitating himself.

  The incident would take place Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Singleton Boulevard and Vilbig Road, leading to the man’s body been thrown out of the vehicle and in open view after driving off in full throttle.

  Once ejected the man’s vehicle would come to a stop without running into any cars or pedestrians.

  The man’s body told witnesses would remain on the road hours later as police took to cleaning up the scene.

  CBS DFW reports prior to the man’s demise, Rodriguez scribbled a message to the side of his car since thought to be a type of suicide note.

   One part of the note read, ‘no codigo’ or ‘no code’ whilst a second word read  ‘codbo’ which is said to refer to ‘call of duty: black ops.’ “

“Protocol Breach” Claims Another Dallas Healthcare Worker

Second Texas Health Care Worker Tests Positive For Ebola

 

 

 

 

 

 

” A second health care worker at a Dallas hospital who provided care for the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S. has tested positive for the disease, the Texas Department of State Health Services said Wednesday.

  The department said in a statement that the worker reported a fever Tuesday and was immediately isolated at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Health officials said the worker was among those who took care of Thomas Eric Duncan, who was diagnosed with Ebola after coming to the U.S. from Liberia. Duncan died Oct. 8.

  The department said a preliminary Ebola test was conducted late Tuesday at a state public health laboratory in Austin, Texas, and came back positive during the night. Confirmatory testing was being conducted at the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.

  The statement said the health care worker, who wasn’t identified, was interviewed to quickly identify any contacts or potential exposures. It said others who had interactions with the worker or possible exposure to the virus will be monitored. “

Dallas Nurse Who Treated Duncan Contracts Ebola Even With Haz-Mat Suit

Second US Ebola Victim Infected Despite Protective Suit

 

 

 

 

 

” A Dallas health worker who looked after the first Ebola victim to die in the United States contracted the disease despite wearing a full protective gown, gloves and face shield as she cared for him.

  Officials in Texas said they were “very concerned” that the first transmission of the virus on US soil occurred despite following health and safety guidelines.

  The female nurse, who has asked not to be named, had been classified as having a “low risk” of carrying the disease before testing positive for Ebola on Saturday night. 

  The fact that the Dallas nurse caught Ebola despite taking apparently stringent precautions has alarmed the authorities, and is likely to create panic across America.

  Judge Jenkins, who is in charge of the civilian response to the outbreak, had already been shunned by his neighbors, with parents pulling their children out of his daughters’ school, after spending time with the Duncan family.”

  Thomas Eric Duncan, believed to be 42,  who became the first person diagnosed with the killer virus on American soil during the current pandemic, died early Wednesday after a battle that sparked a national debate on screening of visitors from West Africa, which has been ravaged by the disease. His death came a day after officials began treating him with an experimental drug and days after he had taken a dramatic turn for the worse.

  Thomas Eric Duncan, a Liberian national, had been placed on a ventilator and kidney dialysis after his health declined over the weekend.”

  The man, Thomas E. Duncan, was sent home under the mistaken belief that he had only a mild fever, a hospital administrator said; the information that he had traveled from Liberia, one of the nations at the heart of the Ebola epidemic, was overlooked. “

” DFW Gun Range burned to the ground in a 4 alarm blaze Sunday evening after one of their customers made the mistake of using the unauthorized ammunition at the indoor range.  There were between 50 and 100 people in the range during the time of the fire.  No one was seriously injured but one fireman had to be treated for smoke inhalation.  No charges will be filed against the customer who started the fire.”

” Update at 10:31 a.m.: Among those expected to attend today’s service is former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who posted the following to her Facebook page this morning:

Todd and I are in Dallas today to attend Chris Kyle’s memorial and funeral service. I find it sad to see that flags aren’t flying at half staff for this American hero. We’re surrounded today by American patriots here in Texas – by Chris’ fellow veterans and active duty warriors. In honor of them, I hope our commander in chief pays his respects in some gesture of condolence for their comrade in arms who sacrificed so much to keep him and all of us safe.

We may never know to what extent Chris kept us free or how many lives he saved by his brave actions in the line of fire. But his fellow warriors know how important he was. My son Track couldn’t meet Chris when Todd and I first met him because Track was deployed to Iraq. Then when we got to know Chris even better, our son was deployed in Afghanistan. We’ve met a lot of people in recent years, and Track has been privileged to meet them as well. But he said about Chris, “Mom, he’s the ONE person in the entire world I would be star-struck to meet. He’s it.”

Update at 10:15 a.m. by Jeff Mosier: Today, Cowboys Stadium is hosting what’s likely a unique event for the team: a public memorial service.

I’m certain nothing like this memorial service for former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle has happened at Cowboys Stadium. When I asked team spokesman Brett Daniels about whether there was ever a public memorial service at Texas Stadium, the only thing he could recall was a memorial for a member of the doomed Von Erich wrestling clan. The only reference I could find though was the annual David Von Erich Memorial: A Parade of Champions, which started in 1984. That was a memorial wrestling tournament rather than memorial service.”

To say that the man had a tremendous impact on others around him, and not just in the service of his country, is to damn him with faint praise. Like many of you, I was shocked when I got the call the he and Mr. Littlefield had been murdered. Although I never met his family, nor Mr. Littlefield and his family, I wanted to do something for them.

” Navy SEAL and bestselling author of the book “American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History” Chris Kyle was killed at the Rough Creek Lodge in Texas Saturday, NBC DFW reports.

WFAA adds:

Two people were killed Saturday at a gun range in Erath County. Three sources tell News 8 that one of the victims was Chris Kyle, a former Navy SEAL and author of the New York Times bestselling book, “American Sniper.”

Kyle was shot point-blank while helping another soldier who is recovering from post traumatic stress syndrome, News 8 learned.

An alert was issued for the suspect, who was reportedly captured in Lancaster, south of Dallas. The suspect was believed to be highly trained with military experience. ”

Gun Support Runs Far Deeper Than Politics

 

 

 

” But in the U.S., gun-control advocates are up against a sizeable bloc of mainstream Americans for whom guns are central to their lives, whether for patriotism or personal sense of safety, or simply to occupy their spare time.

Dave Burdett, who owns an outdoors and adventure shop across the street from the sprawling Texas A&M University campus in College Station, says his affinity for guns is rooted in history, not sport.

“It isn’t about hunting. Everyone says, `Well, I can understand having a sporting rifle, but not an AR-15,” Burdett said. “But wait a second — the idea of the Second Amendment was to preserve and protect the rights of individuals to have those guns.”

“Remember that the (American) revolution was fought by citizen soldiers,” he added. “To this day, that’s one of the cornerstones of our military defense. We have an all-volunteer military.”

When his daughter graduated with a business degree from Texas A&M, Burdett figured she would move somewhere cosmopolitan like Dallas and work in a downtown high-rise. She instead went to work in the store, built her own AR-15 out of spare parts and used it to join what her father described as the “let’s-go-pig-hunting-tonight circuit.” Those feral hog hunts often include high-powered rifles as well as night-vision goggles.
