Creepy Clown Sightings Go Nationwide

” The rash of creepy clown sightings in California appears to have spread nationwide, with reported en-clown-ters in Florida, Indiana and New Mexico.

The Wasco Clown, a California photography project by a husband-and-wife team who said they wish to remain anonymous, appears to have inspired copycats that have been photographed and videotaped in Albuquerque, N.M.; Fishers, Ind.; and Jacksonville, Fla.”

” Jacksonville residents said people dressed in creepy clown costumes have been appearing in security camera footage. One recording shows a clown walking up to a resident’s porch, tearing apart a pumpkin and staring directly into the camera before walking away.”

Citizens Take Over Albuquerque City Council, Call For The Arrest Of Chief

” Angry protesters took over Albuquerque City Council Monday night calling for immediate change at APD and the ousting of both Albuquerque’s Police Chief, Mayor and more.

Protesters even called for the arrest and issued a “people’s warrant” to APD Chief Gordon Eden.

“ This is no longer your meeting, this is the people’s meeting,” protester David Correia, an assistant professor at the University of New Mexico, said into a commandeered microphone as shown in the KRQE video below. “We now serve a people’s warrant for arrest on Albuquerque Police Chief Gordon Eden.” “

Letter: ‘I Cannot Continue To Pretend Or Deceive The Members Of Our Community’

” Just days after the U.S. Department of Justice announced the results of an investigation into the Albuquerque Police Department, three members of the Police Oversight Commission are quitting.

In their resignation letters to Mayor Richard Berry, Richard Shine, Jennifer Barela and Jonathan Siegel said they’re resigning because the civilian commission has no teeth.

“ The city attorney’s office addressed the POC on April 10, 2014, and stated that we have no power to decide against the APD Chief or against the independent review officer’s findings regarding citizens’ complaints,” reads Siegel’s letter. “I cannot continue to pretend or deceive the members of our community into believing that our city has any real civilian oversight.”

Department Of Justice Investigation Confirms Albuquerque Police ‘Executing’ Citizens

APD Protests

” Residents of Albuquerque, New Mexico are marching on the police department Saturday to demand retribution against the city’s mayor and police chief for their role in the police force’s documented “execution” of citizens.

The march comes after the Department of Justice slammed the Albuquerque Police Department for their frequent use of excessive and lethal force in a damning report released on Thursday.

Though, according to advocates, abuse by local law enforcement has been systemic for years, calls for increased scrutiny of the APD were amplified following the police shooting death of James Boyd, a homeless man suffering from mental illness, on March 16.

Advocates welcomed the DOJ’s findings, saying the report was “spot on” in terms of identifying the root causes of this behavior, such as the “aggressive culture of the department” and the way in which “force is prioritized in training.”

However, according to David Correia, an organizer with the Task Force for Public Safety who has been working with families of victims of APD violence, the DOJ’s inclusion of Mayor Richard J. Berry and police chief Gorden Eden in the negotiations for the consent decree, which will dictate how those recommendations will be implemented, is a “non-starter” for the community groups.

The Justice Department investigation, launched in November 2012, found:

APD officers too frequently use deadly force against people who pose a minimal threat and in situations where the conduct of the officers heightens the danger and contributes to the need to use force;

APD officers use less lethal force, including electronic controlled weapons, on people who are passively resisting, non-threatening, observably unable to comply with orders or pose only a minimal threat to the officers; and

Encounters between APD officers and persons with mental illness and in crisis too frequently result in a use of force or a higher level of force than necessary.”

Teacher Saves Others From Suspected Drunk Driver

Teacher Saves Two

” A split second, selfless act by a mother who’s also an APS teacher saved her son and an Albuquerque public service aide from being run down by a suspected drunk driver.

Because she saved them, she couldn’t get out of the way. She was hit and nearly killed.

First grade teacher Tonya McCullough is in the hospital, and she’s badly banged up. She is clearly a hero, but she told KRQE News 13 it was just her mother’s instinct kicking in.

In a split second, McCullough jumped in front of a suspected drunk driver to save two others.”

Pursuit And Shooting Of ‘Cop Killer’ Captured On Police Body Cameras

Christopher Chase Shootout

” A man who shot four law enforcement officers and led scores more on a sprawling police chase through Albuquerque in late October was shot eight times, including four times in the neck and once through his scalp, according to the autopsy report released Tuesday.

The police department released videos from officers involved in the chase, with sometimes graphic images of the officers as they were shot, including:

– the video starts with a female officer advising she was under fire
– the same officer is found, slumped in her car with mouth wide open at 3:40
– 4:55 police receive fire and shoot back through their windshield using an automatic rifle
– shootout at 5:30 onwards

Please note that the item has been edited in parts to shorten the length of the video. Details of the story appear underneath the video.

On the morning of Oct. 26, Christopher Chase, 35, dressed in body armor and camouflage and wielding an assault rifle, told witnesses in Southeast Albuquerque to call police and that he was waiting for them. He then fired upon an officer and managed to steal the officer’s police cruiser, beginning a 16-mile police pursuit that eventually ended when Chase crumpled in the cruiser against a gas pump at Fourth and Montano NW — all amid gunfire from multiple officers.

Chase had shot three Albuquerque police officers, who received minor injuries, and one Bernalillo County sheriff’s deputy, Robin Hopkins, who is undergoing a lengthy recovery for a shattered femur.

The autopsy, released Tuesday by the Office of the Medical Investigator, gives some insight about Chase’s final moments. APD officials have not confirmed that they shot Chase, though they did confirm that they shot at him and that he had gunshot wounds when officers pulled him out of the wrecked APD vehicle.

The several hours of video from officers’ lapel cameras show a chaotic scene, with at least three dozen shots fired at Fourth and Montano at the end of the chase. Officers can be heard shouting expletives and instructions to each other as they try and comprehend the fast-moving situation. One video shows APD officer Daniel Morales as he gets shot in the leg, and another shows officers discussing how Chase had “half his head blown off” after the dust had settled.

A gruesome shot shows a bloody Chase slumped over the steering wheel, blood splattered over the interior of the car.

Officers can be seen running from vandalism and breaking-and-entering calls all over the city in response to a “shots fired” call blasted over their radios. Adding to the complication was an incorrect address that dispatchers could be heard repeating several times throughout the chase.

Interim Police Chief Allen Banks said a witness told 911 dispatchers that Chase was waiting to ambush officers at Broadway and Cesar Chavez. In fact, Chase was waiting at Broadway and Iron, catching the first responding officer off guard.

Until Tuesday, APD had released little information officially since a short press briefing the day after the shootings. The department had deemed all Journal public records requests about the shooting as “under review.”

The autopsy report showed Chase had three gunshot wounds on his neck near his sternum and another from a bullet that entered near the back of his head. Also, a bullet entered Chase’s upper back, and he had two more gunshot wounds to his left arm. Chase also had a gunshot wound on his scalp, a “gaping” laceration that measured 6 inches long and 4 inches at its widest point, according to the autopsy.

Chase, who had “Cop killer” tattooed across his knuckles, had no drugs in his system, the OMI found. The investigator tested for marijuana, methamphetamines, cocaine and opiates.

Investigators also did not appear to find anything else irregular about Chase physically. All indicators, from the surface of his diaphragm to cardiovascular system, appeared normal, according to the report.

Investigators commented several times throughout the 27-page report that Chase’s brain was “extensively lacerated” from at least two of the shots, preventing them from tracing the trajectories of individual bullets.

In addition to the gunshot wounds, Chase also sustained blunt-force injuries to his head and upper left arm, the report found. APD spokeswoman Tasia Martinez said Tuesday the shooting is still under investigation, and the department is waiting on the results of ballistics tests to determine how many officers fired and who they were.

” We do not know how many officers fired their weapons yet,” Martinez said in a text message.

Martinez did say that six officers were placed on leave after the shooting, a standard practice for officer-involved shootings. The department did not respond to questions about the officers’ names or how long they were on leave.

Martinez said the autopsy will be included in the completed case report. She couldn’t say when the department’s investigation might be completed.”

Chief Of Police Harassed By Feds, Placed On Leave After Signing Pledge To Uphold Constitution

” A police chief was detained and harassed by federal agents while traveling to a constitutional convention before returning home to be told he was being placed on administrative leave and ordered to disband his police department after signing a pledge to uphold the bill of rights.

Police Chief Shane Harger of the Jemez Springs, NM Police Department was flying out of Albuquerque Airport last week on his way to a Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) convention taking place in Las Vegas. CSPOA is an organization headed up by Sheriff Richard Mack under which law enforcement officers gather to re-affirm their commitment to uphold and defend the Constitution.

Before passing security, Harger was approached by a TSA agent who asked the police chief to show his credentials. Moments later, a man claiming to be a “federal agent” also asked to see Harger’s credentials before telling him he was a “person of interest.” The federal agent then demanded to know where Harger was traveling to and why.”

ATF Using Mentally Disabled Teens To Run Drug-and-Gun Stings

” If you thought the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) couldn’t stoop any lower, you’d be wrong. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the agency responsible for setting off the events that led to Waco and were at the center of the Fast and Furious gun-walking scandal are using mentally disabled teenagers to advertise businesses that are actually fronts for ATF sting operations.

Earlier this year, when the Journal Sentinel reported on an ATF sting operation in Milwaukee involving a “low IQ” informant, authorities wrote it off as an isolated act of rogue agents. The Journal Sentinel documents at least half-a-dozen stings from around the country that use the same “rogue” tactics of creating fake storefronts and using low IQ people to set stings in cities such as Pensacola, Florida, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Wichita, Kansas.”

How convenient … everything wrong with State actions is attributed to the actions of “a few rogue agents” when in reality we are being oppressed by a rogue government . What sort of moral depravity encourages the “authorities” to enlist the mentally impaired as their stooges ? Fast & Furious was blamed on a few rogue agents as is the IRS/Tea Party scandal , the Secret Service hooker scandal .

Every time there is a scandal in the Obama administration it is blamed on “a few rogue agents” . Apparently in this White House the buck stops , oh I don’t know , oh yeah , over there . There is no assumption of responsibility at all in Obamaworld … everything is someone else’s fault . If this is the best kind of leadership and oversight we can expect from Dear Leader and his merry band of Chicago thugs we’d be better off without any president at all .

NM Teen Accused Of Killings Parents, 3 Children

” “There’s no other way to say it, except that we have a horrific crime scene down there that we are working on,” said Houston.

Nehemiah Griego, 15, was arrested following the shootings at the residence in a rural area southwest of downtown Albuquerque, the sheriff’s department said. He was charged with two counts of murder and three counts of child abuse resulting in death.

Authorities identified the victims as Greg Griego, 51, his wife Sara Griego, 40, and three of their children: a 9-year-old boy, Zephania Griego, and daughters Jael Griego, 5, and Angelina Griego, 2. “
