Email Scandal Mars Christie’s Chances For Presidency; Governor Apologizes
” That sound you’re hearing is the air going out of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s 2016 Republican presidential aspirations, thanks to the scandal known as Bridgegate.
We’ve always known that Christie, a former federal prosecutor, has a temper. He can be nasty and combative — particularly when it comes to entrenched liberal interests like labor unions — and, frankly, that’s what a whole lot of Republicans like about him. (His temper is also beloved by Democrats who believe his explosive tendencies are their best secret weapon against him.)

In an explosive story Wednesday, the Bergen Record revealed a cache of private emails that seemed to show Christie’s staff and appointees orchestrated the closure of lanes leading onto the George Washington Bridge to plague the small town of Fort Lee, whose Democratic mayor, Mark Sokolich, had failed to endorse Christie for reelection.”

Nearly Half Of Black Males And 40 Percent Of White Males Have Been Arrested By The Age Of 23, Claims New Survey
” A third of Americans have been arrested by the time they are 23 according to a new study released in the Crime & Delinquency journal on Monday.
Amongst males the figure dramatically increases to almost half of black males and nearly 40 percent of white males, which can have a negative impact on their ability to find work, go to school and participate fully in their communities.
The study analyzed national survey data from 1997 to 2008 of teenagers and young adults and their arrest histories, which ranged from truancy and underage drinking to more serious and violent offenses. Minor traffic violations were excluded.
This is the first report since the 1960s on how the risk of arrest varies across race and gender, said Robert Brame, a criminology professor at the University of South Carolina and lead author of the study.
The study’s most striking finding is the variance amongst males of different races:
- By age 18, 30 percent of black males, 26 percent of Hispanic males and 22 percent of white males have been arrested
- By age 23, 49 percent of black males, 44 percent of Hispanic males and 38 percent of white males have been arrested “

” A federal judge ruled on Monday that the National Security Agency’s PRISM program, which collects telephone records and metadata and was revealed this summer by whistleblower Edward Snowden, could be unconstitutional.
U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon, appointed by George W. Bush, ruled that PRISM likely violates the Fourth Amendment’s ban of unreasonable search and seizure. Leon argued that the NSA’s widespread collection of telephone calls made in or to the United States represents an “arbitrary invasion” of the lives of its own private citizens. He also said that the Justice Department has done little to demonstrate that these information-collection efforts actually prevent future terrorist acts. “

” If you thought the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) couldn’t stoop any lower, you’d be wrong. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the agency responsible for setting off the events that led to Waco and were at the center of the Fast and Furious gun-walking scandal are using mentally disabled teenagers to advertise businesses that are actually fronts for ATF sting operations.
Earlier this year, when the Journal Sentinel reported on an ATF sting operation in Milwaukee involving a “low IQ” informant, authorities wrote it off as an isolated act of rogue agents. The Journal Sentinel documents at least half-a-dozen stings from around the country that use the same “rogue” tactics of creating fake storefronts and using low IQ people to set stings in cities such as Pensacola, Florida, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Wichita, Kansas.”

Slowly But Surely Unraveling Benghazi
” The take-away from this week’s session, so Representative Devin Nunes (R–CA) told Fox’s Megyn Kelly, was that the beleaguered U.S. diplomats and CIA staff in Benghazi were not beyond assistance, as Obama Administration officials would have us believe. Repeatedlymembers of the Administration have stated that there was just not enough time for military assets to come to the aid of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and his staff in the diplomatic facility, or the contractors and staff in the CIA annex roughly a mile away.
Yet, two factors have emerged, undercutting the Administration’s argument:
- The diplomatic facility came under attack at 9:00 p.m. on September11, fighting at the CIA annex erupted between 12:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., and culminated with a mortar barrage at 5:00 a.m. on the 12th. Throughout the evening and the morning, people all over Benghazi, including other foreign diplomats, followed the fighting with fascination. No one could possibly know with certainty that this was the end of the battle, though Washington clearly hoped that it was.
- Seven CIA security specialists actually did come to the rescue from Tripoli, arriving at the CIA annex just as the mortar attack was erupting at 5:00 a.m. Their trip on a Libyan military C-130H cargo plane had been an exercise in massive frustration, including three and a half hours spent at the Benghazi airport, waiting on negotiations with local Libyan militias over safe passage from the airport to the CIA annex. The CIA specialists did finally make it to the annex, to the massive relief of the besieged staff. “

It appears that a Mr Timothy Young was subjected to the same obscene invasions of privacy at the same Gila Regional Medical Center for failure to signal . 4 On Your Side continues :

A review of medical records, police reports and a federal lawsuit show deputies with the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office, police officers with the City of Deming and medical professionals at the Gila Regional Medical Center made some questionable decisions.
The incident began January 2, 2013 after David Eckert finished shopping at the Wal-Mart in Deming. According to a federal lawsuit, Eckert didn’t make a complete stop at a stop sign coming out of the parking lot and was immediately stopped by law enforcement.”
For failing to come to a complete stop at a mall stop sign this poor man was subjected to the most obscene indignities one could imagine . This surely falls into the “truth is stranger than fiction” category , as no Hollywood movie script writer could ever come up with this scenario .

So we are supposed to believe that perceived “clenched buttocks” is grounds for a search warrant being issued ? The judge should be disbarred , the arresting officers fired and the Doctors performing these invasive surgical/medical procedures should be prohibited from treating so much as a stray F***ing cat . And to think there are millions of people in this country that actually believe that the State needs to be granted MORE power in order to keep us “safe” .

US Commandos Were Poised For Raid To Capture Benghazi Suspect

CBS featured on 60 Minutes last night the first Western eyewitness to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack: a former British soldier involved in diplomatic security.
“About 30 minutes into the attack, a Quick Reaction Force from the CIA annex ignored orders to wait and raced to the compound, at times running and shooting their way through the streets just to get there,” the guard said. “Inside the compound, they repelled a force of as many as 60 armed terrorists and managed to save five American lives and recover the body of Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith. They were forced to fight their way out before they could find the ambassador.”
He noted al-Qaeda had promised to attack the Red Cross, the British and Americans in Benghazi, and had already carried out the first two before the Sept. 11 attack.

Is there some sort of secret contest going on between administrators to see who can come up with the most ridiculous interpretation of their school’s zero-tolerance weapons policies? Do they meet annually to hand out awards and have a good laugh at their students’ expense?
